The short version
The Converter for PC apps convert your files entirely on your PC. Your files are never uploaded, and the apps contain no telemetry, analytics or advertising. The apps make exactly one kind of network request, described below, and it carries no data about you or your files.

What the apps do on the network
- Remote configuration: the apps perform a read-only GET of their configuration at
https://api.converterforpc.com(for example the app's catalog entry, which tells it whether the Pro add-on is available and its current price display). The request contains no user data and no file information. As with any web request, our hosting provider (Vercel) sees standard connection metadata such as the IP address and request path in its server logs. - Nothing else: no analytics, crash reporting, advertising identifiers or account system.
Optional feedback form
If you choose to send feedback from inside an app, the app sends only what you see in the form: the message you typed, the optional contact detail you chose to enter, the app name and version, and the app language. It is forwarded to our support inbox. Nothing is sent unless you press the send button. We use it only to respond to you and to improve the app, and we delete it on request.
Purchases
Pro upgrades are sold as a one-time add-on through the Microsoft Store. Microsoft processes the payment and handles invoicing, taxes and refunds under its own terms and privacy statement. We receive only the licence state (whether the add-on is owned), never your payment details.
Local data
Settings (such as theme and language) and your converted files are stored on your device. Output files are written only to the folder you choose.
Children
The apps are not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.

You may ask us to access or delete any feedback message you sent. Contact support@converterforpc.com.
Changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the apps or the law. The effective date above shows the current version.
