By installing or using the Converter for PC apps, you agree to these terms. If you disagree with any part, please do not use the apps.
Description of service
The apps are Windows file converters distributed through the Microsoft Store. Conversion runs locally on your PC. The free tier converts one file per batch; the Pro add-on lifts that limit.
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and have the legal capacity to agree to these terms.
Your responsibilities
Use the apps lawfully and only on files you have the right to convert. Do not reverse engineer the apps except as permitted by law, and do not misuse the optional feedback form (spam, abuse).
Purchases and refunds
- Pro add-on: a one-time purchase made inside the Microsoft Store app.
- Payment and refunds: purchases are sold and processed by Microsoft. Refunds are handled by Microsoft through your Microsoft account order history, under Microsoft's policies and your statutory rights. We cannot issue refunds on Microsoft's behalf; if you get stuck, write to support@converterforpc.com and we will help.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The apps are provided "as is", without guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation or of any particular conversion result. Keep your original files; the apps write new files and do not modify the originals. To the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for data loss or indirect damages arising from use of the apps. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be excluded under Czech or EU law.
Modifications
We may update these terms. Changes take effect when posted; the effective date above shows the current version. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
Termination
We may restrict access to the apps or services if these terms are violated.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Czechia. Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Czechia.
